Beloved Bishop Chedid bestows blessings.
Bishop John G. Chedid bestows his blessings upon John Paul Kimes, as he ordains him into the pristhood on July 20th, 2000 at John Paul's home parish of St. Elias at Birmingham, Alabama. Fr. Kimes is the son of Gerry and Beverly Kimes.
Kimes will serve as Associate Pastor to Father Saad at St. Elias until September 24, when he will return to Rome to complete his 5th year studies.
Also in joyful celebration was the ordination of Joseph R. Stephens, Sr., son of the late Bob and Gloria Stephens, to the permanent deaconate on July 22, 2000.
