Bishop Chedid assigns administrator to Tulsa, Oklahoma
In April, Bishop John Chedid formally assigned an administrator for the Maronite Community in Tulsa, Oklahoma making it the newest mission in the Eparchy.
Father Steve Bonian, S.J. has been assigned by Bishop Chedid as the Mission's Administrator Pro Tempore with the permission of Father Steve's Jesuit superiors. Fr. Steve was ordained by Archbishop Frances M. Zayek and served eleven years for the Latin Patriarchate in Palestine, Israel and Egypt. Father Anthony Spinosa, Co-director of the Office of Missions visits Tulsa regularly. Fr. Spinosa presented the new mission with a Sacramental Register so that she may "officially" begin recording these sacred events.
