Summary Trials
These are cases heard by the Tribunal that involve documents and depositions, but not to the degree of a Formal Trial as described above. Summary Trials cases occur when one(1) of the parties:
Was abducted for the purpose of marriage.
Was married previously in any manner whatsoever before the marriage in question happened.
Was non-baptized and the proper dispensation was not obtained for disparity of cult.
Or the parties are closely related and no dispensation was obtained from the proper ecclesiastical authority.
Or the party/parties were bound to receive the Church's Blessing and did not do so.
Or if the priest presiding at the crowning did not have the proper jurisdiction or delegation to grant the blessing of the Church to the parties.
